Over the years, I have worked for a number of employers, everything from small mom and pop shops all the way up to multinational conglomerates. I’ve also ran a number of my own businesses in various fields. Although each work place differed greatly in philosophy, products and procedures, they all shared one common problem; conflict between employees.
No matter how well meaning and adjusted people are, we are all different creatures inside. Some got along great outside work, but couldn’t stand each other in the workplace. For years I studied this issue and sought out ways to resolve it. I have been lucky enough to work with some wonderful people over the years that allowed me to fine tune my skills in workplace conflict resolution, as well as teaching it to others.
The psychology and problem solving techniques I present to you in this book are all methods I have used to resolve real world issues that have come throughout my career.
